People
A successful “people shot” requires motivating and choreographing human subjects much like a movie director does. Hair and wardrobe are key components of the visual metaphor as are attitudes and body language. Scouting the right location and context are also vital. Should the subject be sitting alone or in conversation with others? In a dimly lit room or strolling in bright sunshine? Harnessing the many factors that can “color” an image is what strategic photography is all about.
